Dr Damien Downing is a physician and leading authority specialising in Ecological Medicine. His systems-based approach focuses on addressing the root causes of complex, chronic health conditions by looking at the impact of environmental, nutritional and biochemical factors. As President of the British Society for Ecological Medicine, he’s been a long-standing advocate for integrative healthcare since founding his private practice in 1980.
His work explores the connection between light, energy, water and human health – themes he discusses in his latest book, Coherent Health: The Power of Light and Water. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Downing is also a speaker, writer and former Editor of the Journal of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
