Guest Bio:

Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe is a UK trained medical doctor with a decade of experience within hospital medicine, specifically in emergency trauma medicine. She has worked in hospital emergency rooms, led trauma teams, taught on trauma medicine courses throughout the UK and abroad and was selected to instruct doctors on teaching within medicine for Advanced Trauma and Life Support (ATLS).

In 2008, Dr Erica began researching biological effects of non-ionising radiation with a special interest in Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS). She is regularly invited to lecture globally on this issue and has discussed the public health issues surrounding non-ionising radiation exposure at the highest political level both in the UK, and in Europe.

She formally transitioned from clinical medicine to full time research in 2015 and founded PHIRE (Physicians’ Health Initiative for Radiation and Environment) to facilitate education on a larger scale. The group is currently constructing best practice guidelines for non-ionising radiation (NIR) health for multiple settings.

Dr Erica is the author and director of the 2020 Non-Ionising Radiation Consensus Statement and currently working as a Special Expert for the International Commission on Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF).
